Mr. Johnson has extensive criminal and business law
experience. He attended Shippensburg University,
receiving a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in
1989. He also attended the University of Maryland
School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in
1992. Mr. Johnson earned an MBA from John Hopkins
University in May 2000. After law school, Mr. Johnson
clerked for the Honorable J. James McKenna in
Montgomery County Circuit Court. After clerking, he
received a position with
Prince
George's County State's Attorney's Office as an
Assistant
State's Attorney. As a prosecutor, Mr. Johnson,
personally went
to trial on over three hundred criminal and traffic
offenses.
Afterwards, Mr. Johnson joined
a prestigious D.C. law
firm as
an associate attorney
where
Mr. Johnson practiced
business litigation
and criminal defense
in the state and federal courts of Maryland, Virginia,
and the District of Columbia.
During the period 1995-2000, Mr. Johnson also served in
the Army JAG Corps Reserves. In the spring of 2000,
Bruce A. Johnson, Jr., LLC was established to provide
the highest quality trial and litigation services. To
date, Mr. Johnson has personally
handled
nearly one
hundred (100)
jury trials and well over
five
hundred (500)
bench trials. Mr. Johnson also serves on the Board
of Directors for the Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital
and Nursing Center.
Justin T.
Baham
The associate attorney, Justin T. Baham, is
admitted to practice law in the State of
Maryland. He received his B.S. in Finance from
Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. Mr.
Baham obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from
Howard University School of Law. While in law
school, Mr. Baham was a member of the Goler Teal
International Moot Court Team and a member of
the Fair Housing Clinic. Mr. Baham has
successfully handled a number of business and
real estate related trials while a member of the
Law Offices of Bruce A. Johnson, Jr., LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Baham served
as law clerk to the Honorable Herman C.
Dawson in the Circuit Court for Prince
George’s County.
Stephanie
L. Johnson
Stephanie L. Johnson is admitted to practice law
in the State of Maryland and the District of
Columbia. She received her B.A.
in Political Science and African American
Studies from Washington University in St. Louis
in 2003. Ms. Johnson received her Juris Doctor
degree from Howard University School of Law in
2008. While in law school, Ms. Johnson was a
member of the D.C. Law Students in Court legal
clinic.
